Enable prompt to choose workspace
Provar gives you the ability to choose your workspace when starting Provar. By default, this prompt is enabled when you install Provar. However, if you have checked the option Use this as the default and do not ask again in the past, and now you need to change workspaces, follow the steps below to get the prompt back.
Open Provar with the default workspace. From the Provar Menu, open Preferences, then select Workspaces under Startup and Shutdown.
Check the option Prompt for workspace on startup:
Then click OK and restart Provar.
Fixing corrupted workspaces
This technique can also be a solution in case your workspace becomes corrupted, and Provar fails to launch. In this case, you might need to change the workspace to relaunch Provar.
Navigate to the Provar folder on your machine:
Windows: C:\Users\<< User Directory>>\Provar
Mac: Applications/Provar
Go to the folder configuration settings, and open file org.eclipse.ui.ide.prefs.
Change the value of the property name SHOW_WORKSPACE_SELECTION_DIALOG to true.
Then save changes and restart Provar, selecting a workspace other than the corrupted workspace.
