License Types

This page explains the type of licenses available for Provar products.

Provar Automation

Trial License

Trial licenses are available short-term to allow organizations to assess Provar’s suitability to their requirements. Get in touch for more information.

Developer Licenses

Fixed Seat License

Fixed licenses are machine-specific, and assigned users cannot exceed the license count. Licenses can be reallocated in the case of resource turnover or reassigning users.

Floating License

Floating licenses are not tied to machines and can be shared as long as the concurrent (active) usage does not exceed the license count.

Execution License 

Execution licenses are used for test execution via remote servers as part of your CI/CD pipelines or a scheduled regression test process. These licenses are intended for test execution purposes only and are activated on runtime.

Provar Manager

Manager License 

Manager licenses are an org-specific user license for the Salesforce Application Provar Manager. They are used to manage quality and test management per user.

Provar Grid

Grid License

Each Grid license gives users one dedicated cloud execution for testing purposes. This means that with X number of Grid licenses, you can simultaneously run up to X instances in parallel with unlimited executions.
