Provar Manager v3.17.0

Summary

Test Case Generation 2.0 is now available in the Provar Test Management App. This update introduces multi-format outputs (Text, Markdown, JSON, Gherkin, XML, Apex, Java), support for generating up to 10 test cases at a time, smarter prompts for more reliable results, and issue-aware generation with auto-populated fields. New features include a scenario quality assistant with AI “Improve Scenario” suggestions, enhanced usability, and safer downloads. The release also delivers key bug fixes, improved test data handling, and compatibility updates for Shield Encrypted Orgs.

Feature now available in custom tab in Provar Test Management App.

Multi‑format outputs (Text, Markdown, JSON, Gherkin, XML, Apex, Java) with structured parsing and selective save.

Now supports generating 1-10 test cases at a time.

Improved system prompts and added more grounding to ensure reliable & consistent test case generation.

Issue-aware generation: auto-populates linked Issue, recommended field set, and default Intent name.

Scenario quality assistant: strength indicator + AI “Improve Scenario” suggestion workflow.

Test Intent captures natural language scenario description, intent name, persona, context objects, and issue.

Test Output captures saved test case generations for later reference and tracking.

Safer downloads: unified payload service, .feature conversion for Gherkin, fallback viewer, improved file naming.

Lookup & UI usability: programmatic Issue preselection, consistent display label, better toasts and status messages.

Bug Fixes

Eliminated script error on download, removed phantom default steps, improved empty/None test data handling, strengthened scenario heuristic against repetition/padding.

Resolved error related to installing Provar Manager on Shield Encrypted Orgs.
