Automation V3: Creating a New Test Project

The Test Project collects all your test-related data, including test cases and Connections.

You must have a Test Project set up before creating or running any test cases in Automation. 

If you have a Test Project open already and need to create a new one, visit the File Menu and select Switch Test Project.

The Welcome screen allows you to create a new Test Project or open an existing Test Project.

On the welcome screen, if you wish to create a new Test Project, choose Create a new test project, and you will be presented with the Create New Test Project screen.

Note: If you don’t need to start from scratch, learn how to import a local test project or import one from version control.

Supply a name for your Test Project and click Create to create your new test project.

You did it! Now it’s time to start building your test cases.
