Provar Manager v3.14.0

Summary

In this release, we’ve picked up on the primary initiatives of improving user onboarding & adoption and increasing visibility of critical testing data in all-new dashboard.

Provar Manager In-App Guidance

With nearly 50 new In-App Guidance Prompts and Walkthroughs added in this release, newer and existing users will have access to the Provar Manager documentation without ever having to leave the Salesforce. We’ve also included nearly 20 different reports and 3 unique dashboards that help surface relevant usage data in your Provar Manager org, so you know which Prompts & Walkthroughs are providing the most value to your teams.

Release Center Dashboard

We’ve created a Release Center tab in the Provar Release Management app, an all-new tab for viewing important Release & Project Management records and how they relate to the current release & testing cycles.

This tab includes the Release Center dashboard, which has two primary views,
Release Progress and Regression Progress. These views are filterable by project & test plan.

Removed

We’re starting an ongoing effort to trim down some of the lesser used and potentially distracting aspects of Provar Manager.

We’ve completed the process of removing all relevant metadata related to the User Experience Hub. This includes Custom Objects, Pages, Permission Sets, LWCs, and the Custom App itself.

Bug Fixes

Jira

We fixed a bug related to a Jira import issue into Provar Manager. This issue was related to not being able to import issues if there was no IssueType mapping created previously. This resulted in an import error – IssueType Mapping.

There is another known bug of a similar nature related to the Assignee Mapping. We are looking to include this in the next release (or as a patch for 3.14.0).
