Prerequisite: Please ensure your system is not on any proxy (HTTP/PAC/SOCKS etc.). Always check your test settings before applying the steps given below by clicking on Test Settings.

Provar has a mechanism to auto-detect Proxy. If you do not have a proxy and you are facing an issue with metadata download, then please follow the steps for the settings given below.

Step 1: Click Help > Network Settings.

Step 2: A Provar network settings screen is displayed. Click New.

Step 3:  Select the Direct(no proxy) option and click Activate.

Step 4: Click Restart Now.

With these settings, your metadata performance will improve considerably. Reload the metadata.
